Special Features

Personal Choice Cruising is a new Princess innovation. Princess' Personal Choice Dining program offers two main dining options. Passengers can choose between traditional fixed seating, where they will have an assigned dinner time, table, companions, and wait staff, or restaurant-style Anytime Dining, which allows them to dine when, where, and with whom they wish. Casual alternative dining options, specialty restaurants, a Pizzeria, and 24-hour room service offer selections as diverse as those available in resorts ashore. Personal Choice Dining has been introduced throughout the fleet, with the exceptions of Pacific Princess, Royal Princess, Crown Princess, and Regal Princess.

Recommended For

Modestly affluent first-timers, frequent cruisers who want easy-paced travel, are not demanding, prefer an even balance between sea and land time, and who understand that the Love Boat was only a television show.

Dress Code

Formal attire is suggested for select evenings. As a special treat, during the week of February 14th, a “Love Boat National Holiday” is scheduled with Renewal of Vows ceremonies and other Valentine's Day activities.

Princess Cruises' ships are some of the most accessible at sea and physically challenged passengers find staterooms in a variety of categories that are tailored for their special needs.

Princess Cruises Highlights

Your Shipmates

Princess Cruises attracts American cruise passengers, mostly couples ranging from their mid-30's to mid-50's. Families enjoy cruising on the Princess fleet, particularly in the Caribbean and Bermuda during holiday seasons and summer months. Alaska is also becoming a popular family destination. Longer cruises and more exotic itineraries generally attract veteran passengers in the over-60 age group.

Junior Cruisers

For youngsters aged 2 to 17, each Princess vessel has a playroom and a program of supervised activities designed for different age groups. A special schedule of teen activities is offered. For a nominal charge, group babysitting is available in the evenings and when ships are in port; however, there is no in-cabin babysitting. Youth counselors are only available on the Royal Princess when 15 or more children are sailing. Conveniences for families are the large self-service laundry facilities and two-way family radios that are available for rent at the Purser's Desk.

Cruise Itineraries
